Life Is Better on the Water.
A resident-owned, full-service marina in the heart of Bonita Bay — wet slips, dry storage, valet launch, fuel, waterfront dining and the Gulf of Mexico just up the channel.
The Private Harbor of the Bonita Bay Community
Set on the Imperial River at the south end of Estero Bay, Bonita Bay Marina is owned exclusively by Bonita Bay residents — a full-service harbor where your boat is kept ready, fueled and waiting for the water.
From valet-style launches scheduled through BoatCloud to on-site fueling, light mechanical services and a stocked ships store, our crew handles the details so your time on the water begins the moment you step on the dock.
- Resident-owned — the marina and Backwater Jacks belong to the Bonita Bay community
- Direct Gulf access — north up the marked channel to New Pass and open water
- Open every day — 8 AM to 5 PM, weather permitting, with after-hours launch & return

Backwater Jacks Bar & Restaurant
Fresh, local, sustainable seafood served dockside — arrive by boat at the transient dock any time, or by car with a reservation. Proudly the first restaurant in Lee County to champion the Eat Local Lee initiative.

Where the Imperial River Meets Estero Bay
Few harbors anywhere begin a day's boating like this: a quiet run down a mangrove-lined river, into the protected waters of the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve, and out through New Pass to the Gulf of Mexico.
Dolphins escort the morning boats. Ospreys patrol the channel markers. And at the end of the day, the western sky over the Gulf performs — every single evening.
